Please read these terms carefully. By accessing or using TorahLab.net (the “Service”), you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TorahLab.net lets users run reproducible text analyses on the Hebrew Bible (Tanach) and browse related commentary. A “Verified” label in the Service refers only to computational reproducibility — that the underlying arithmetic reruns identically against a fixed text. It does not mean a result is meaningful, intentional, authentic, predictive, or true. Code-style (ELS) and similar findings are exploratory and are not a claim that the text contains hidden messages, prophecies, predictions, or instructions. You should not rely on any result as a basis for any decision.
Some English translations of Hebrew-only commentary are machine-generated by AI and are labeled with their source. They may contain errors, omissions, or mistranslations, and they are not authoritative. Always confirm against the original Hebrew source before relying on them.
Nothing on TorahLab.net is a halachic ruling or a substitute for a qualified rabbi, posek, or other religious authority, nor is it legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. For questions of Jewish law or practice, consult a competent authority.
Hebrew and English biblical texts and commentaries are drawn from public-domain sources and/or from Sefaria, and are used under their respective licenses (e.g., Public Domain, CC0, CC-BY) with attribution. AI Cool LLC does not claim ownership of those underlying texts; all rights in them remain with their respective owners and licensors.
The TorahLab.net website, its design and user interface, its software and source code, its original content, and the AI-generated translations produced by us are © 2026 AI Cool LLC. All rights reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by these terms or by the applicable license of any third-party text. Third-party texts remain subject to their own licenses.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to disrupt or overload it; scraping or bulk-extracting content in violation of applicable licenses; reverse-engineering it for a harmful purpose; or using it for any unlawful activity.
If the Service offers account registration or sign-in, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any result will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Cool LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or your reliance on any result, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use the Service in the prior twelve months or US $100.
What we collect. If you register or sign in, we collect your email address (and any name you provide). To operate and improve the Service, we may collect basic, non-identifying usage information. Preferences such as your recent searches and display settings are stored locally in your browser and stay on your device.
How we use it. To provide the Service, send you sign-in or confirmation emails, respond to you, and maintain security. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers. We rely on third parties to run the Service — for example, hosting and delivery (Cloudflare), transactional email (Resend), and AI processing for translation (Anthropic). These providers process data only to provide their services to us.
Your choices. You may request access to or deletion of your account information by contacting us at [email protected].
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
